FilRight FilRight Engineering ASA - 750 g - Grey
FilRight Enginering ASA filament vs. ABS
FilRight Engineering ASA filament is in our opinion a good and easily printable alternative to ABS with some extra features. With ASA filament, printing is a lot easier and you still benefit from the same mechanical properties as ABS. The material is very strong and stiff even at low temperatures.
Filament suitable for outside use
Due to the composition of FilRight Engineering ASA (Acrylonitrile-Styrene-Acrylate) filament it is extremely suitable for outdoor use. The material is UV and weather-resistant.
Printing with FilRight Engineering ASA filament
In order to be able to print ASA well and easily, a heatbed is necessary. The layers easily adhere to each other and the material hardly shrinks. The color is kept beautiful and it does not yellow.
The recommended print temperature is between 235°C and 255°C and an adhesive may be used. We recommend using a LokBuild printing surface, for example.
Packaging of the filament
The filament is supplied on transparent spools so that you can easily see how much filament is left during printing. The spools are sealed and packed in a cardboard FilRight box to guarantee quality and protection during transport.
