Kimya Kimya ABS-EC Filament - 500 g - Black
conductive ABS filament from Kimya
Kimya ABS-EC (Acrylonitrile-Butadien-Styrene Copolymer "Electrical Conductor") is a conductive filament with a surface resistance of less than 10^6 R OHMS/SQ. This property allows the production of components that can conduct electrical charges. Of course, this is still a plastic and not an active conductor. The material has a lower resistance than, for example, ABS-ESD (or comparable ESD filaments), but at the same time it is not as conductive as a metal, for example.
Advantages of Kimya ABS-EC filament
- With a surface resistance of less than 10^6 Ohm / Sq the material offers a high conductivity for plastic. This property can be used for technical components and other printed brackets.
- Kimya ABS-EC is based on standard ABS material. This means that the temperature resistance (90°C) is higher than that of comparable filaments based on PLA. .
- In terms of impact strength, no compromises were made either. The material is just as resilient and resistant as other ABS filaments.
Applications of Kimya ABS-EC Filament
Kimya's conductive ABS-based 3D printing filament is suitable for various special industrial applications. For example, the material can be used to print simple conducting paths, housing parts and even electronic brackets . Especially in dual extrusion in combination with a non-conductive printing material, it can be used to create components that cannot be realized by traditional manufacturing methods.
