About us

FilRight was founded in 2016 by Sven de Vries and Joost Hellinga, two friends with a passion for technology and entrepreneurship.

After extensively experimenting with various brands of 3D printers and filaments, they quickly launched their webshop for printers and materials. But, as true entrepreneurs, they didn't stop there. In 2017, FilRight developed its own 100% Dutch filament line: FilRight Maker, FilRight Pro, FilRight Designer, and FilRight Engineering. Soon after, the range of 3D printers was expanded with brands such as Ultimaker, CraftUnique, and BCN3D.

Their success did not go unnoticed. Since early 2019, FilRight has been the Benelux distributor for Raise3D, one of the world's largest suppliers of 3D printers.
