We are aware that you are putting your trust us. Therefore, we see it as our responsibility to protect your privacy and only process data that we need to improve our services. We handle the information we collect about you and your use of our services with care. We never make your data available to third parties for commercial purposes.

This privacy policy applies to the use of the website and the services provided by FilRight V.O.F. via the website. The effective date of these terms is 24/05/2018. With the publication of a new version, the validity of all previous versions is revoked. This privacy policy describes which data is collected about you, for what purpose this data is used, and under what conditions this data may be shared with third parties. We also explain how we store your data, how we protect your data from misuse, and what rights you have concerning the personal data you provide us. Purpose of Data Processing

General Purpose of Processing

We only use your data to provide our services. This means that the purpose of the processing is always directly related to the order you place. We do not use your data for targeted marketing. If you share data with us and we use this data to contact you at a later time for reasons other than at your request, we will ask for your explicit permission. Your data is not shared with third parties, except to meet accounting and other administrative obligations. These third parties are bound by confidentiality by the agreement between them and us or by an oath or legal obligation.

Automatically Collected Data

Data automatically collected by our website is processed to improve our services. These data (such as your IP address, web browser, and operating system) are not personal data.

Cooperation with Tax and Criminal Investigations

In some cases, FilRight V.O.F. may be legally obligated to share your data in connection with tax or criminal investigations by government authorities. In such cases, we are compelled to share your data, but we will oppose this within the limits of the law.

Retention Periods

We retain your data for as long as you are a client. This means we keep your customer profile until you indicate that you no longer wish to use our services. If you notify us of this, we will treat it as a request to delete your data. Based on applicable administrative obligations, we must retain invoices containing your (personal) data, and therefore, we will store this data for as long as the applicable period lasts. However, employees no longer have access to your customer profile or documents we created in response to your order.

Third Parties

Information is not shared with third parties except for web applications we use for our online store. This data will only be used for the purpose of the specific application and will not be shared further. In some cases, the information may be shared internally. Our employees are obligated to respect the confidentiality of your data. The third parties we use are:

• Lightspeed eCommerce: Lightspeed hosts the site, processes our data, and shares it with necessary third parties to provide services. We have a data processing agreement with Lightspeed that ensures they protect your privacy.

• Shipping Partners: We use distribution partners for most shipments. They receive your address to deliver your order and your email to send you a tracking link. All data needed for shipping is transferred securely.

• SendCloud: Occasionally, we send packages via SendCloud for returns or special requests.

Payment Processors

• Mollie: We use Mollie for handling payments. Mollie processes your name, address, and payment details such as your bank account or credit card number. Mollie has taken appropriate measures to protect your data.

Email and Mailing Lists

• MailChimp: We use MailChimp to send newsletters. MailChimp will never use your name and email address for its own purposes. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of the newsletter.

• Fastmail: We use Fastmail for regular business email. Fastmail has implemented appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent the misuse, loss, and corruption of your data.

Reviews

• Kiyoh and Yotpo: We collect reviews via these platforms. When you leave a review, you are required to provide your name, city, and email address. These platforms share your data with us to link the review to your order.

Invoices and Accounting

• E-boekhouden: We use E-boekhouden for accounting. We share your name, address, and order details for invoice administration. E-boekhouden is obligated to keep your data confidential.

External Sales Channels

• Bol.com and Marktplaats.nl: We sell products through these platforms. If you place an order via these platforms, they share your order and personal data with us to process the order.

Cookies

• Google Analytics: We use Google Analytics to monitor how visitors use the website.

• Tawk.to – Live Chat Software: We use Tawk.to for live chat on our website. This software may collect data on how users interact with the website.

Disabling Cookies

Most browsers are set to accept cookies by default, but you can configure your browser to refuse all cookies or indicate when a cookie is being sent.

Your Rights

You have the right to view, modify, or delete your personal data. You can make such requests to our privacy contact. You will receive a response within 30 days.
